Admission to M. Sc and M. Phil Degree Programmes
Applications are invited for Admission to M. Sc (2 years) and M. Phil Degree Programmes offered in the University Departments of Anna University Chennai, for the Academic Year 2008-2009.
I. M. Sc (2 Years) Degree Programmes:
1. M. Sc Mathematics/ Computer Science (SS)
2. M. Sc Materials Science/ Medical Physics
3. M. Sc Applied Chemistry
4. M. Sc Applied Geology
5. M. Sc Environmental Science (SS)
6. M. Sc Electronic Media (2/3 Years) (SS)
7. M. Sc Economics/ Financial Economics (SS)
Application forms can be obtained in the following modes:
In Person: From the Examination Centre, Anna University Chennai, Chennai – 600 025, on payment by Demand Draft for Rs.600/- for General Category (Rs.300/- for SC/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu on production of a copy of Community Certificate).
By Post: By sending a Demand Draft for Rs.650/- (Rs.350/- for SC/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu with a copy of Community Certificate), which includes postal expenses, along with a requisition letter and a self-address slip to The Director (Admissions), Anna University Chennai.
By downloading from the website: www.annauniv.edu/msc2008. The filled-in Application should be sent along with documents and DD for Rs.600/- (Rs.300/- for SC/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) towards registration fee.
1. Date of Issue of Application Forms in person and by post: 23.4.2008
2. Last date for issue and submission of filled-in application: 10.5.2008
II. M. Phil Degree Programmes:

Application Form can be downloaded from Anna University website: www.annauniv.edu/mphil2008. The filled-in Application should be sent along with documents and DD for Rs.600/- for General category (Rs.300/- for SC/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu).
All Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of The Director (Admissions), Anna University Chennai, payable at Chennai and should be obtained from any Nationalized Bank on or after 20.04.2008.
Completed application for M. Sc and M. Phil degree programmes should be sent to the Director (Admissions), Examination centre, Anna University Chennai, Chennai – 25 on or before 10.05.2008.
