Admission Notice 2008 Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute, Kolkata invites applications for admission to Three Year Post – Graduate Diploma Course (Full Time) for the session 2008-2011 in the following specialization: - Direction & Screenplay Writing - Cinematography - Editing - Audiography Eligibility for Admission: 1. Direction & Screenplay Writing 2. Cinematography 3. Editing Eligibility: Graduate in any discipline from recognized University or equivalent. 4. Audiography – Graduate from a recognized University in any stream. Physics as one of the subjects at the Higher Secondary level (i.e. 10+2 level) Medium of Instruction: English Total Number of Seats: 40 (10 per discipline out of which 2 seats are earmarked for foreign students). Reservation for SC/ST candidates as per extant GOI Rules. Provision for persons with disabilities as per extant GOI Rules. Admission Test: The Admission Test will comprise a Written Examination to be held at different centers, followed by an Interactive Orientation Test & Viva-voce for the short listed candidates only to be held at the Institute.
