XLRI - Jamshedpur - Scnool of Business & Human Resources - Invites application for Fellow/Doctoral Level Programmes

The Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) is a full-time, residential doctoral programme that trains prospective scholars to become highly skilled and innovative researchers and teachers in various domains of management. It primarily aims at preparing students for careers as faculty members at premier academic institutions or as researchers in premier research organizations. XLRI provides one of the best financial support for doctoral students in India.

• Fellow students are awarded a fellowship of Rs. 20,000 per month till the successful completion of the Comprehensive Qualifying Examination and subsequently students will get Rs. 25,000 per month till the end of 4 years from the date of admission, and no fees (admission, tuition, course material, computer or library) will be charged. From third year, a student can work as Research and Teaching Assistant (RTA), for which Rs. 25,000 percourse will be paid extra.

• The Institute provides supportforattending national and international conferences up to Rs. 1,50,000. A grant of Rs. 20,000 is also provided fordata collection/field work.

Instead of taking XAT, FPM candidates can also submit GMAT/GRE/GATE/UGC/JRF (research) results taken during the year January 2010 and December 2011. Those who have done their PGP from XLRI, any MM, MDI Gurgaon, FMS Delhi or XIM Bhubaneswar with a CQPIofatleast6.00/8.00orequivalentwill be exempted from appearing in the XAT.

The Executive Fellow Programme In Management (Exec-FPM) is a part time, non-residential, doctoral programme that has been designed to cater to working executives/managers/faculty members/researchers. The objective of the programme is to develop prospective scholars for careers not only in management research and academics but also in management practice, consulting, training and development.
