1.B. Ed
Eligibility: A degree in Tamil/ English/ Mathematics/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Botany/ Zoology/ History with marks for OC: 50%, BC:45%, MBC: 43%, SC/ST: 40% in Part III & allied subject. For Commerce M. Com; alone are eligible.
2.M. Ed
Eligibility: B. Ed with 50% in aggregate, those who have completed the B. Ed course may also apply.
Admission Criteria: Entrance Test and Academic Marks
Application Cost: Rs.300/- (Rs.150/- for SC/ST)
Date & Time of Entrance Test:
B. Ed: 14.06.2008 (Saturday), 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon
M. Ed: 14.06.2008 (Saturday), 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.
Centres: Chennai and Karaikudi.
Applications and Prospectus can be obtained from the undersigned on requisition along with a Crossed Bank Draft drawn in favour of The Registrar, Alagappa University payable at Karaikudi by enclosing a self-addressed stamped (Rs.15.00) envelope of 35 cm x 10 cm. SC/ST candidates should submit attested Xerox copy of the Community Certificate along with the requisition letter. Candidates can also download the application form and instructions to the candidates from http://www.alagappauniversity.ac.in. Downloaded filed in application should be accompanied by a DD for the specified amount. Candidates appearing for the final year/ semester examination can also apply.
Last date for Receipt of Completed Applications is extended upto 09.06.2008.
