Greetings. Thank you for contacting us. Our essay contests at the Ayn Rand Institute are open to students worldwide - including India. No application nor fee is required, and the contests are about three books targeting three age ranges: Anthem for grades 8-10, The Fountainhead for grades 11-12 and Atlas Shrugged for grade 12 students and college undergraduate and postgraduate students. To enter, you just have to read the book and submit an essay online on one of the assigned topics. We accept essays in APA, MLA, Chicago or any similar format. There are three assigned topics for each contest. For the topics and deadlines for our contests, You can also visit our contest website.

ANTHEM

For 8th, 9th and 10th Graders * Entry Deadline: March 29, 2017

Essay must be between 600 and 1,200 words in length.

THE FOUNTAINHEAD

For 11th and 12th Graders * Entry Deadline: April 26, 2017

Essay must be between 800 and 1,600 words in length.

ATLAS SHRUGGED

For 12th Graders, College Undergraduates and Graduate Students * Entry Deadline: April 28, 2017

Essay must be between 800 and 1,600 words in length.
