India Council of Philosophical Research invites applications from Young Scholars between the age of 20-25 Years (as on 1.1.2007) to participate in an Essay Competition-cum-Young Scholar’s Seminar on the theme “Human Unity and Personal Identity in Indian Traditions”. The Competitors adjudged First, Second and Third on the basis of their essays and performance in the seminar will be awarded cash prizes of Rs.5, 000/-, Rs.3, 000/- and Rs.2, 000/- respectively. Applications on plain paper providing details such as: name of the applicant, Educational Qualifications, address for correspondence, Essays typed in Hindi or English of about 3, 000 words on the theme and a declaration that the Essay written by the candidate and has not been published in any journal/ magazine are to be submitted within one month ( Ref-Employment News dated 13-19 Oct 2007) from the date of this advertisement along with proof of date of birth to the under mentioned address:
