SCHOOL/ STATE LEVEL PAINTING COMPETITION

School principals are requested to organize painting competition of two hours duration for 6th, 7th and 8th standard students in their school on the above mentioned theme preferably on A-4 size paper.

The School principals would select three best paintings and send it to the Nodal Officers so as to reach him along with the list of total number of participants not laterthan 20.10.2013.

The back of the painting should have the following information: Name of the student, Father's/Mother's name, Class, School name and Postal address, Telephone/Mobile number, e-mail- ID of student, Address of school and Signature of principal.

Students who have won first, second or third prize at State Level competitions on earlier occasions are not eligible for participation. The consolation prize winners may participate but they would be considered for 1 st, 2nd and 3rd prize only at the State Level competition.

All participants of the School Level competition would be given participation certificate.

Best 50 paintings will be selected out of paintings received from School Level competition by a Boardof Jury for State Level painting completion to be held on 18.11.2013.

Each participant of State Level competition would be paid an incidental charge of Rs. 1000/- in cash. Participants, alongwith two parents/ guardians would also be paid to and fro fare by ordinary bus/sleeper class rail fare/from the place of residence to the competition venue.

NATIONAL LEVEL COMPETITION

1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winner in the State Level competition would be invited to Delhi for participation in the National Level competition to be held on 27st December, 2013.

National Level prize winners would be awarded cash prize on the same day.

NOTE:

The decision of the Jury/Expert Committee at all levels of the painting competition will be final.

The paintings selected at School, State and National Levels would be the sole property of Ministry of Water Resources which will have the right to use it for any purpose it considers appropriate.
