Hospitals do employ psychologists (mainly clinical). Criminal psychology can be pursued by a clinical psychologist. It is the application of psychological principles to criminal activity, especially criminal behaviour and it’s effect on crime prevention, risk assessment and the criminal justice system. There are good employment prospects for post graduates in psychology, but one has to be proactive in the job search and it takes some years to develop one’s base in the profession.
