Ph.D Programme In Economics - Admission 2005 Special Scheme for SC/ST Candidates CDS, a premier social science research institution established in 1971, invites applications from Candidates belonging to SC/ST communities, for admission to its full-time PhD programme in Economics against one researved seat with Fellowship. The selected candidates has to join the programme on 02 January 2006 and can register under Jawaharlal Nehru University or the University of Kerala. the Fellowship, for a maximum tenure of three years, has monthly stipend of Rs.6000 and annual contingency Grant of Rs.12,000 UGC JRF can also be availed of, if eligible. Candidates should have a Masters in Economics or related disciplines and an MPhil . Those who are awaiting results of the MPhil can also apply. Qualifying the NET for JRF, teaching at College level and research experience will be given due consideration.
