Admission Notice for Post Graduate (ME/ M. Sc) and Doctoral (Ph. D) Programme, 2008-2009
Application are invited for admission to the following Post Graduate courses under the Faculty of Technology, University of Delhi for the session 2008-2009. Total number of seats, Full Time (FT) & Part Time (PT) available in each course are indicated below:
ME/ M. Sc Programme:

Eligibility:
For admission to Full time Courses, valid GATE score is essential. Details of eligibility for each course are uploaded on the website www.dce.ac.in and can also be had from the Reception Counter of the college. Separate Application Forms must be submitted of courses offered by each department.
Ph. D Programmes:
Ph. D programs are offered in the following academic departments: Civil/ Electrical/ Electronics & Communication/ Mechanical/ Production/ Computer/ Information Technology/ Polymer Technology/ Applied Chemistry/ Applied Mathematics/ Applied Physics.
The number of scholarship/ seats available for the academic session 2008-09 are 05, Scholarships are admissible as per Govt. of India rules.
Eligibility:
a) For Engineering disciplines: Master of Engineering/Master of Technology (ME/ M. Tech) in the appropriate Branch from a recognized University/ Institution.
b) For Applied Science: Master of Science (M. Sc) in the appropriate Branch from a recognized University/ Institution.

Short listed candidates shall be called for interview. NET qualified candidates having UGC/ CSIR Scholarship can also be considered for admission to full time Ph. D programmes. This would be in addition to the number of Scholarships/ seats mentioned above.
Leaflet containing details of the Programmes, admission proceedings and Application Forms, can be obtained in person on submission of Pay Order or Crossed Demand Draft of Rs.500/- drawn in favour of the “Director, Delhi College of Engineering”, payable at Delhi from the Reception Counter, Administrative Block, Shahbad Daulat Pur, Main Bawan Road, Delhi – 110 042 on all working days i.e. Monday to Friday, 10.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. from 26.05.2008 onwards.
The request by post for the forms, accompanied by a Crossed Demand Draft of Rs.600/- (inclusive of postal charges) drawn in favour of “Director, Delhi College of Engineering” payable at Delhi, must reach the college latest by the dates specified below. Request for application form must indicate the applicant’s name, address, the course for which admission is sought and three self addressed slips of size 10 cm x 5 cm.

5) Likely Dates of Interview: 07.07.2008 & 08.07.2008 (For ME/ M. Sc). For Ph. D, the candidates will be communicated later.
