Introduction to National School Of Drama
The National School of Drama (NSD) is one of the foremost theatre training institutions in the world and the only one of its kind in India. It is an autonomous institution, fully funded by the Government of India. NSD offers three year Diploma Course (Full time - Residential) in Dramatic Arts. Graduate in any subject can join this course. Participation in atleast 6 productions is a must. Working knowledge of Hindi and English is necessary. Expert Committee will assess the aptitude and talent of the candidates. A preliminary test will be conducted. The candidates qualifying in this test will have to attend a workshop for their final selc-tion. All selected students will be given monthly scholarship of Rs.3000 to meet their academic and other Expenses.
