Felix Scholarships (India)

Eligibility:

The scholarships are open to Indian graduates starting a degree at Oxford in October 2007 to read for a taught graduate course or for a Master's/DPhil degree by research, who would be unable, without financial assistance, to take up their place. Applicants must be under 30 years of age and must have at least a first-class Bachelor's degree from an Indian university or comparable institution. Those who already hold degrees from universities outside India are not eligible to apply. Graduates are expected to return to work in their home country.



Number and value of awards:

Up to six scholarships will be available. They will cover University fees, college fees and maintenance.

Application procedure: Further particulars and an application form for the scholarship may be obtained at www.admin.ox.ac.uk/io. The closing date for scholarships applications is 1 March 2007. Candidates must apply separately for admission to the University in the first, second or third gathered fields.
