KSCSTE Post-doctoral fellowships
Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE),
an autonomous organization which aims to promote excellence in science and technology,
invites applications from eligible candidates for three post–doctoral fellowships (PDF) in biotechnology.
The fellowship with a monthly consolidated amount of Rs 11500/= and an annual contingency grant of Rs 20000/= is
tenable for three years in any suitable institution under the KSCSTE or any R&D institution/university in Kerala
or other selected research institutions in India. The fellows are entitled to leave as per rules of the respective
institutions where they are holding the fellowship.
Qualifications: First Class Master’s degree in Life Sciences including medicine, veterinary science,
agriculture, forestry and fisheries, followed by Ph.D. in biotechnology or molecular biology aspect in the relevant field.
Age limit: 35 years – relaxable up to 40 years by the number of years of post-doctoral experience.
Eligible candidates may submit their application in duplicate in plain paper with CV (including telephone number, email ID),
list of research publications in refereed journals, a one-page summary of the research work already done,
and a one-page note on the research work proposed to be done under the fellowship programme.
The selected candidates will join within three months. They will be required to execute a bond to the effect that they
will serve an institution under the Council or any academic/research institution in Kerala for 3 years at the completion
of the fellowship provided a research position is available to him/her within 3 months after completion of the PDF.
