Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM), founded in 1980 has been declared as a Deemed to be University U/S 3 of the UGC Act 1956 on August 14, 2007. GITAM Institute of Foreign Trade (GIFT), an autonomous Institute of GITAM, has now been brought into the ambit of GITAM University and declared as GITAM School of International Business (GSIB).
