ADMISSION NOTICE: 5 YEAR BS-MS DUAL DEGREE PROGRAMME 2016

Applications are invited from highly motivated students studying in science stream for admission to the five year BS-MS Dual Degree Programme at Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) at Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram and Tirupati for the academic session beginning August 2016.
Eligibility
Candidates satisfying any one of the following three criteria are eligible to apply:
o Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Vojana (KVPY): Students qualifying in SA (2014-15) / SX (2015-16) / SB (2015-16)
o Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Advanced) 2016: Students securing a rank within 10000 in the Common Merit List (CML) of JEE Advanced 2016
° State and Central Boards (SCB): Students passed (10+2) level in 2015 or 2016 in science stream with marks above or equal to the cut-off percentage declared in the admission website (www.iiseradmission.in)
For OBC (Non-Creamy layer)/person with disability (PD), there is a 5% relaxation in the mentioned cut-off. The cut-off for SC/ST candidates and Kashmiri Migrants (KM) is 55% in (10+2) level for all boards
Students applying through SCB channel will be required to appear and qualify the USER Aptitude Test 2016.

There is a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1500/- (Rs. 750/- for candidates applying under SC/ST/KM category).
KVPY scholars admitted to IISERs would draw fellowship as per KVPY norms. In addition a limited number of INSPIRE scholarships will be available for candidates admitted through JEE Advanced and SCB channel as applicable as per the norms prescribed by DST INSPIRE scheme. This supersedes all earlier announcements regarding scholarship.
