As per the Scheme, the selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs.11,000/- for two years and a one time educational material allowance of Rs.5,000/-.
Eligibility : B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Metallurgical and Materials Engineering with valid GATE Score.
How to apply : Request for application form should be sent along with a Demand Draft for Rs.300/- (Rs.150/- in the case of SC/ST/Physically challenged candidates) drawn on any Nationalised Bank in favour of The Registrar, IIT Madras payable at Chennai branch together with two address slips (50mm X 100mm) with the applicant's address in capital letters, to the Chairman, M.Tech Admission Committee, GATE Office,
IIT Madras, Chennai - 600 036. For more details see the website : www.iitm.ac.in . Candidates who have applied for M.Tech Programme in response to our earlier advertisement dated 13.03.2005 need not apply once again. Last date for receipt of completed application form by post and at the GATE Office : 15.04.2005 (Friday)
