ADMISSION ANNOUNCEMENT
Further to the tMU's Admission Announcement on 11-04-2010, it is hereby informed that last date for submission of application is extended upto31'05-2010 & CommonEntrance Test will be held on 19-06-2010.
Indian Maritime University invites applications for admission to the following courses in IMU Campuses and Affiliated Colleges for the Academi c Year 2010-2011 (August 2010 Batch):
* B. Tech. (Marine Engineering) in affiliated institutions of IMU only
* Diploma in Nautical Science leading to B.Sc. (Nautical Science)
* B.Sc. in Ship Building and Repair
Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must be 10+ 2 or equivalent from a recognised Board or University with an aggregate of 60% marks for B.Tech 8. 55% marks for Diploma & B.Sc in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 50% marks in English in either 10th or 10+2 (candidates appeared and awaiting for results can apply). Selection Procedure: Selection is based on performance of candidate in IMU-Common Entrance Test (IMU-CET) which is scheduled to be heid on 19th June 2010 (Saturday) between 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools All Over India and subsequent counseling at IMU Chennai.

Applications must be submitted along with demand draft lor Rs.800/-(fis.450/- tor SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of "Indian Maritime University" payable at Chennai. Filled in applications along with DD should be sent to "Academic Section, Indian Maritime University, East Coast Road, Uttiandi, Chennai-600119" in an envelope superscribing "Application form lor "B. Tech. (Marine Engineering)"/ "Application form lor Diploma in Nautical Science leading to B.Sc. (Nautical Science|"/"Application form for B.Sc. in Ship Building & Repair" before 31st May 2010.
