Indira Gandhi National Open University invites application for admission to Post Graduate Certificate in Oral Implantology and Post Graduate Certificate in Endodontics. These two programmes have been developed in collaboration with Dental Council of India (DCI) & the programmes are approved by DCI.
Post Graduate Certificate in Oral Implantology (1 Year)
Post Graduate Certificate in Endodontics (1 Year)
Eligibility: BDS (DCI Recognized)
Last date of submission of Application Forms: 10th May, 2008
The Student Handbook and Prospectus-cum-Application Form can be obtained from the Regional centers of IGNOU or Block-3, Room No.1, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi – 110 068 in person on payment of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) in cash or through post by sending an IPO/ Demand Draft of Rs.550/- (Rupees Five Hundred and Fifty only) in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi/ at the city of Regional Centre from where the Prospectus is required. Application Form and Prospectus can also be downloaded fro the website (www.ignou.ac.in). The address of Regional Centres are available on the IGNOU website. The filled in application form downloaded from the website should also be sent along with IPO/ Demand Draft of Rs.550/- (Rupees Five Hundred and Fifty only) in favour of IGNOU.
The filled in application forms should reach the Registrar, SR&ED, Block 12, Indira Gandhi National Open university, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi – 110 068 on or before the last date of submission of applications.
Selection Procedure:
Selection of eligible candidates will be done on the basis of a combined entrance examination for the two programmes scheduled on 1st June 2008. Reservation in numbers of seats shall be as prescribed by Govt. of India rules. The programmes will be offered through selected dental colleges recognized by Dental Council of India (DCI) in Distance Learning Mode.

(iii) Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Cardiology (PGDCC) – July 2008
Indira Gandhi National Open University invites applications for admission to a two years full time programme i.e. Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Cardiology (PGDCC) Programme. This programme is on non-invasive cardiology and implemented in collaboration with Top Cardiac Institutes of the country.
Eligibility: MBBS (MCI Recognised)
Duration: 2 Years (Full Time)
Selection Procedure:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit cum interview. Eligible candidates will be called for interview. No TA/ DA will be paid for interview.
Last date of submission of Application: 30th April, 2008 and 31st May 2008 with late fee of Rs.200/-.

Application Form and Prospectus can also be downloaded from the website (www.ignou.ac.in).
The filled in application form should be submitted to respective Regional Centre along with Demand Draft of Rs.500/- in favour of IGNOU payable at the city of Regional Centre. The address of Regional Centres are available on the IGNOU website.
