Lady Meherbai D. Tata Scholarships For Higher Studies Abroad - Academic Year 2008-2009



The Trust was set-up in 1932 and grants scholarships to young Indian women graduates of recognised Indian universities for pursuing higher studies abroad in the field of social work and public health.

Applications are invited for the Academic Year 2008-2009, for the Lady Meherbai D. Tata Education Trust Scholarships for Higher Studies abroad in the fields of:

» Social work

» Education & Welfare of Children with Special Needs

» Family / Child Health & Welfare

» Status, Health & Empowerment of Women

» Women's Studies

» Health Planning and Education

» Public Health (Community Health)

» Rural Organization Work



WHO IS ELIGIBLE ?

» Indian Women graduates of a recognized Indian University having a consistently good academic record.

» Candidates applying for the scholarship must have applied for admission or secured admission to Universities in Europe or America for the Academic Year 2008-09.
