Applications are invited for the following project posts: 1.a. RESEARCH ASSOCIATE for the project entitled "Problems of visually impaired college students-Areas of support required." Qualification : Master's Degree in Social Work/Psychology/Economics with one year experience in Research work. Duration : 1 year Salary: Rs.6000/- p.m. consolidated b.Investigator:(3) (One each in Kolkatta/Mimbai and Delhi) Qualification : Master's Degree in Scoail Work / Psychology/Economics. Duration: 2 Months Salary : Rs.5000/- p.m. consolidated. 2.RESEARCH ASSOCIATE: for the Project entitled " Indian Adaptation of Nottingham Adjust,ment Scale" Qualification: M.A./S.Sc., in Psychology with some experience in Scale construction and standardization. Duration:9 months Salary : Rs.6000/p.m.consolidated. 3. RESEARCH ASSOCIATE for a project entitled "Survey of Industrial Employment Possibilities for the Blind in Chennai and nearby areas". Qualification : Master's Degree in Psychology/Management/Social Work or equivalent with two years research experience in training/job identification for the blind. Duration : 10 months Salary : Rs.6000/-p.m. consolidated ABOUT THE ABOVE POSTS: (a) One application will be considered for one post only. (b) Knowledge of at least one South Indian Language is essential preferably Tamil except for Investigators. (c) Qualification and are relaxable for exceptionally deserving candidates.
