It is proposed to fill up the under mentioned existing and anticipated temporary positions of RA/SRF/JRF under different projets at this Bureau through walk-in-interview scheduled to be held on 17.09.2004. Accordingly, the eligible and desirous candidates fulfilling all the requirements should appear before the Selection Committee for personal interview/trade test at NBPGR, Pusa Campus, New Delhi as indicated below:- Code :01 Name of the Project,funding agency and duration: Development of cryopreservation protocols in banana and ginger ( Till June 2007) Name of the position :Sr.Research Fellow Location of the project & vacancies: New Delhi - Two Emoluments per month :Rs.9.000/- + HRA Essential Qualifications : MSc. in Botany/Plant Genetic Resources/Plant Biotechnology/Horticulture. Desirable : Experience in plant tissue culture, cryopreservation,biochemical and molecular techniques. Code :02 Name of the Project,funding agency and duration: National Containment/Quarantine facility for transgenic material( Till June 2005) Name of the position :Research Associate Location of the project & vacancies: New Delhi - One Emoluments per month :Rs.11,500/+ HRA(M.Sc.), Rs.12,000/- + HRA(Ph.D) Essential Qualifications : MSc. or Ph.D in Plant Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Genetics/Plant Breeding Plant genetic Resources. Desirable :Research experience in plant molecular biology /biotechnolgy Code :03 Name of the Project,funding agency and duration:PCR based testing pf transgenic planting material ( Till March 2005) Name of the position :Jr.Research Fellow Location of the project & vacancies: New Delhi - One Emoluments per month :Rs.8.000/- + HRA Essential Qualifications : MSc. in Plant Biotechnology / Molecualr Biology / Genetics / Plant Breeding Plant Genetic /Resources/ BotanyDesirable :Research experience in Plant Molecular Biology /Biotechnology.
