National Institute of Tourism & Hospitality Management(NITHM) is a sector-specific Management Institute, modeled on the lines of IITs and IIMs, established for Tourism and Hospitality Industry to provide Education, Training,Research and Consultancy in India and abroad. The US$ 7.0 million Insitute has been promoted jointly by Ministry of Touism, Govt.Of India and AP TOurism, GOvt of Andra Pradesh. The Institute has tie-ups with Osmania University and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University(JNTU), Hyderabad, for its academic programs. "Deemed University" status is under consideration.
