Interested candidates for temporary positions (One JRF @ Rs.8000-8000-9000 p.m. and One Field Assistant @ Rs.3000/ p.m.) in a DST-sponsored 3 year research project titled "Evaluation of regeneration status and behaviour of a few rare/endangered tree species in tropical rain forests in and around Arunachal Pradesh" (Principal investigator Dr.M.L.Khan, Department of Forestry; Email : khanmi@yahoo.com, khanmi@rediffmail.com) may please attend the wali-in-interview on 6 September 2004 at 3.00 p.m. in T & P Cell, NERIST. The eligibility criteria are as follows: JRF - 1st class M.Sc.,(Ecology/Botany/Forestry) with strong ecological knowledge on forest ecosystems; CSIR UGC NET qualified candidates would be preferred. For all the positions , a good physical health and temperament to work in remote and inaccessible areas of Arunachal Pradesh and adjoining areas would matter in selection of candidates.
