Registration of Students with Scholastic Aptitudes (ROSSA)
Eligibility:
Scholars with 1st Class B.E/ B. Tech in Engg. Or Post Graduation in science subjects including Psychology or Medical Science, who have been awarded Ph. D in the year 2006 or likely to be awarded Ph. D degree before 30 Sep 2007
Subject/ Disciplines:
Engineering/ Medical/Life Sciences/ Basic Sciences with area of research having direct interest/ relevance to DRDO.
Age:
Not exceeding 35 years of age as on 30th Sep. 2007
Post/ Scale of Pay:
Scientist ‘C’ in the scale of Rs.10, 000 – 15, 000 plus amount equivalent to two increments and allowances & facilities s applicable to Central Govt. employee i.e. LTC, Medical, advance (car, house building & PC), personal update allowance, group Insurance etc.

Eligible and desirous candidates should apply in prescribed format, complete in all respect along with Rs.50/- IPO (Non refundable) with superscription on the envelop “Application for Registration of Students with Scholastic Aptitudes (ROSSA)” and send to the address given below on or before 30 September 2007. Important Instructions:
• Application received on other than prescribed format is liable to be rejected
• Application received after the last date will not be entertained.
• Application which are incomplete, unsigned and without IPO & Photograph will be rejected summarily
• Candidates in Central/State/Govt/PSU/UT service whether in a Pmt or Temp capacity are required to submit their applications through proper channel along with NOC
• Scholars found suitable based on their area of research work relevant to DRDO and the specific requirement of various labs may be called for interview subject to meeting the eligibility criteria.
