Incoming Freshman Scholarships in the College of Agriculture

Application Process:

Deadline for the Jim Sloan Memorial Scholarship is April 8, 2008

• Students wishing to apply for one of the many scholarships available in the College of Agriculture must complete an application accessed here. (Please note this is an Adobe file and requires Adobe Acrobat Reader to be viewed and completed.)

• You will complete the application on-line and print it.

• It is extremely important that you complete the form entirely.

• Your application packet must include:

Completed Application form
High School transcript
Cover letter (2 page maximum) describing your area of study, goals and ambitions, high school/college leadership and activities, and financial need, if any. Failure to include needed information may disqualify you for a scholarship.

Letter of recommendation from your counselor
• Once your application packet is ready, deliver it to the Associate Dean's office, AG 219 or mail to: Scholarship Committee, PO Box 1080, State University, AR 72467.
