Applications are invited for award of Junior Research Fellowships carrying an fellowship amount of Rs.8000/-PM(Consolidated)+ H.R.A. with the following requirements:
POSITION 01 (at Regional Remote Sensing Service Centre/Dehradun)
Duration of Fellowship 3 Years
First calss M.Sc., (Agriculture) in soil Science/Soil Chemistry.
Desirable : Working knowledge in handling image processing Packages and GIS packages.
Job Requirements : Study the soil Carbon dynamics, involving collection of soil samples analysis for different pools(fractionation), periodic measurements of active pools and Carbon dioxide emision from soil in different sites
and related phenomena specifically on soil processes and cropping patterns.
POSITIONS 2 AND 3 (at Regional Remote Sensing Service Centre/Nagpur).
Duration of Fellowship : 2 years
Essential Qualifications : Firat Calss B.Tech/B.E in Computer Science or MCA with graduation in Science or Engineering.
Desirable : Work Experience or Proficiency in C++, VC++ JAVA, ASP and web development tools.
Job requirements : Digital analysis of remote sensisng data and GIS based integrated analysis applications, including development of applications, software for disaster Management System.
General Conditions/Instructions:
1. Age limit is 30 years, but relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 3 years in case
of OBC candidates. The age limit in case of Ex-servicemen, physically handicapped candidates will be relaxed as per Government of India orders. Age will be reckoned as on the last date fixed for receipt of application.
2. The Fellowships will not confer any claim or right for regular employmnet in any Centre/Unit of Indian Space Research Organisation/Department of Space.
3. Out-Station candidates called for interview will be paid to an fro second class railway fare by shortest route or bus fare, whichever is less , on production of proof of journey, such as the railway ticket number or bus ticket etc.,
4.Only Indian - Nationals need apply.
5. Organization reserves the right not to fill up the position, if it so decides.
6. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
7. Candidates will have to produce proof of the details furnished in their application as and when required.
8. Candidates working in government/Public Undertaking/Quasi-Government/Autonomous Organisation should ensure that their applications are sent through proper channel.In case they anticipate any dely in forwarding their applications, they may submit advance copies of their applications before the due date.
9. Applications without the requisite information asked for in the prescribed format, signature, photograph, attested copies of the certificates/mark sheets and those received after the due date will not be considered.
