Sri Ramachandra Centre for Distance Education (Recognised by Distance Council)
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the following courses offered under distance education mode for the academic year 2009-10:
1. M.SC. (INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE AND SAFETY)
Duration : Three years
Eligibility : B.E./B.Tech. (Mechanical / Electrical / Sanitary / Chemical / Civil / Mining / Industrial Engineering) / MBBS / B.Sc. (Physics/Chemistry /Zoology / Environmental Sciences) degree awarded by any recognised University.
The applicant must have at least 2 years of experience in training / education / consultancy / research in industry or related fields.
2. POSTGRADUATE CERTIFICATE COURSE IN INDUSTRIAL HEALTH* (Approved by the Govt, of Tamil Nadu in compliance with 62-0 (2) of Tamil Nadu Factory Rules, 1950 and the Govt, of Karnataka in compliance with Rule 88 M (2) of the Karnataka Factories Rules, 1969)
Duration: One year Eligibility : M.B.B.S. Degree and permanent registration with any one of the State Medical Councils in India.
*Note: This course is not coming under the purview of the Medical Council of India.

The filled-in application form should reach the Registrar along with a Demand Draft for Rs. 650/- (Rupees Six hundred and fifty only) drawn in favour of "The Registrar, Sri Ramachandra University" payable at Chennai on or before 30.6.2009 (Tuesday).
