Admission Notification:
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the following courses offered under distance education mode for the academic year 2008-2009:
1. M. Sc (Industrial Hygiene and Safety)
Duration: Three Years
Eligibility: BE/ B. Tech (Mechanical, Electrical, Sanitary, Chemical, Civil, Mining, Industrial Engineering)/ MBBS/ B. Sc (Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Environmental Sciences) Degree awarded by any recognized University.
The Applicant must have at least 2 years of experience in training/ education/ consultancy/ research in industry of related fields.
2. Post Graduate Certificate Course in Industrial Health
Duration*: One Year
(Approved by Govt. of Tamil Nadu in compliance with 62-0 (2) of Tamil Nadu Factories Rules, 1950 and Govt. of Karnataka in compliance with Rule 88 M (2) of the Karnataka Factories Rules, 1969)
Eligibility: MBBS Degree and permanent registration with any one of the State Medical Councils.
*Note: This course is not coming under the purview of the Medical Council of India.

The filled-in application form should reach the Registrar along with a Demand Draft for Rs.650/- (Rupees Six hundred and fifty only) drawn in favour of “The Registrar, Sri Ramachandra University”, payable at Chennai, on or before 30.06.2008 (Monday).
