New Studentships Programme for Developing Nations
10 International PhD Studentships
The University is creating 10 PhD Studentships for exceptional students from developing nations, who wish to read for a doctorate in the social sciences. The studentships will be tenable from September 2005 – August 2008 in the following schools:
Politics & International Studies
Law
Sociology & Social Policy
Graduate School of Education
Social Work
Management & Economics
Each studentship will be available, in the first instance, to candidates from developing nations only. Exceptional candidates from developed nations will be considered if all places are not filled. Fees will be paid and there will also be an annual stipend (£12,000 for 2005/2006).
