Application form and instructions to candidate can'be had from the Registrar's Office on payment of prescribed fee of Rs.200/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ST Candidate) for M.A./M.Se. Degree Courses. The SC/ST candidate should produce a photocopy of the community certificate to avail this concession. The payment of cost of application forms should be in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of "The Registrar, Thiruvalluvar University" payable at Vellore. Candidates who require the application through post should include an additional amount of Rs.50/- towards postage in addition to the cost of application, [i.e. M.A./M.Sc Course Rs.250/- (Rs. 150/- for SC/ST candidate)].
Admission will be made on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination and marks secured in the Entrance Test. Candidates should take the ENTRANCE TEST in the concerned University Departments for the above said courses.
Last Date for submission of filled-in applications for the above course is 26.09.2009.
The Completed Application shall be sent directly to the respective HEAD OF THE DEPARTMENT only. Address on the envelope shall be written as given below:

Application must be complete in all respects. Incomplete Application and without attested photocopy of certificate shall be liable to be rejected without any intimation.
The University will have the right either to run or cancel the course without any intimation.
