A Candidate seeking admission to this course must have qualified the Joint Admission Testfor M.sc. (JAM) Physics 2010 for admission to M.Sc. and other post-B.Sc. programs, conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-Madras) http://jam.iitm.ac.iny Few seats are also available for meritorious candidates qualifying the admission test for M.Sc. Physics - 2010, conducted by the Department of Physics & Astrophysics, University of Delhi. http://du.ac.in/
Minimum educational qualifications for the course is same as in JAM (Physics) - 2010-: Bachelor's degree with Physics as a subject for at least two years / four semesters and Mathematics for at ieast one year /two semesters, 60% aggregate marks for General Category & 55% for alt reserved categories.
Final selection will be done on the basis of an interview.
Candidates selected for this course will be provided a scholarship of Rs. 3000/- per month and may be sent to reputed University / Institutes in Frances Europe for dissertation/course work.
