Ph.D Admissions of January 2007 Session
Applications in the prescribed form are invited from the eligible candidates for entrance test to fill some vacant seats in Ph.D programmes during January 2007 session in Mathematics*, Physics, Electronics Science, Chemistry*, Biochemistry*, Plant Sciences*, Animal Sciences*, English, Philosophy, Hindi, Applied Linguistics, Translation Studies, Comparative Literature, Economics*, History, Political Science, Sociology, Anthropology, Regional Studies and Communication.
Note: * Only JRF qualified candidates will be considered for admission in these subjects.
Prospectus- cum-Application forms can be obtained in person from 1st December 2006 to 30th December 2006 from the Academic Section. Administration Building in the University Campus, Gachibowli, Hyderabad against cash payment of Rs.500/- in the case of Sciences and Rs.300/- in the case of Humanities, Social Sciences & S.N School for General Category. Rs.75/- for SC/ST/PH category for any subject. Prospectus- cum-Applications can also be obtained by ordinary post on a requisition by a self addressed slip and the cost of Prospectus- cum-Application and also the postage of Rs.50/- through a Bank Draft drawn in favour of Finance Officer, University of Hyderabad, payable at HCU Branch, Hyderabad or Andhra Bank, Nampally Station Road Branch, Hyderabad. Filled in applications should reach the Deputy Registrar (Acad. & Exams), University of Hyderabad on or before 30.12.2006. Written test will be held at University Campus, Gachi Bowli, Hyderabad on 23rd/24th January and interviews for the short listed candidates on 14th/15th February 2007.
