Admissions : will be to M.Sc., and M.Tech. After completing the 2-year M.Sc., or M.Tech in the Dept of Computer Science, interested studetns will be admitted to M.C.A., and earn the M.C.A. after 1 more year. Entance Exam : will be held on May 29, 2005 at : Ahmedabad,Bangalore,Bhopal,Chennai, Delhi,Hyderabad,Kolkata,Lucknow,Mumbai,Pune, Thiruvananthapuram,Varanasi ans Vijaywada. Reservation : 50% of seats are reserved for SC,ST,DT/NT,PH and OBC as per Govt.Of Maharashtra G.R. Eligibiltiy for M.Sc., : Mathematics at 10+2 level and graduation in Science or Engineering with minimum 50% marks for open category candidates and passing marks for reserved category candidates. For M.Tech., GATE score in Engineering or any Mathematical or Physical Sciences or UGC/CSIR JRF qualification, valid in July 2005. Fee: (Application kit + exam fee ): Rs.575 ( Rs. five hundred and seventy five only) by Demand Draft in favour of Registrar , University of Pune payable at Pune. To obtain application kits: (By Post) Write to Head, Department of Computer Science, University of Pune, Pune - 411 007. enclose (1) the DD (2) two slips 10 cm X 6 cm, with name and address in block letters, (3) plain paper with name, address and payment details( DD no, bank name and date).Last date for receipt of postal requests : April 13, 2005.
