Scholarships Erasmus in School

Erasmus in School organises 100 scholarships for young people from all over the world who want to be Language Assistants abroad.

Would you like to be a Language Assistant at a school or educational institution overseas?

A language Assistant is a young person who teaches their mother tongue (or another language of which he has an advanced knowledge) by working with students and sharing their culture. The Language Assistant will work 15 hours each week. Being a Language Assistant is a great way of getting professional experience in the teaching profession, travelling, learning a foreign language and finding out about another culture.

Requirements:

* Anyone between 18 and 30 years old at the time of applying, from any country in the world is eligible to apply for the scholarship.

* Having advanced level of English language or being native speaker of one of the following languages: English, Spanish, Chinese, German, Arabic, French, Portuguese, Japanese or Russian.

* Candidates can choose any school/company registered in the Erasmus In School portal. In the event that the school/Company of interest is not registered with the portal, the school or Company must register and agree to accep the Assistant for the period of time that the assistant proposes (any period between 1-12 months).

* Candidates who present schools or companies that are not registered with the platform will automatically be eliminated from the selection process.

What the scholarship includes:

* Outbound and return flights.

* Scholarship grant of 750 euros net per month. (The scholarship dates can be decided by the candidate). Any period between 1-12 months will be accepted starting on 1st February 2018 at the soonest and starting on 1st February 2019 at the latest).

What the scholarship does not include:

* Visa expenses.

* Health insurance costs.

* Accommodation.

Candidates must fill out the online form by 11pm on the 20th December 2017.

Selection process:

Selected candidates will be notified by e-mail on January 15th, 2018. Due to the great amount of applicants, only selected candidates will be contacted.
