About the Institute

National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research, Chandigarh, an ISO 9001-2008 certified institute, is one of the four national institutes established by the Government of India in 1967 for the growth and development of technical education in the country. It is now reckoned as a resource institute for the technical education system providing services to its clientele covering faculty/staff of technical institutions, officials of directorates/boards of technical education, central and state govt. departments, industry, students from technical institutes and trainees from overseas. The institute undertakes the following spectrum of activities:

Education and Training Programmes, Curriculum Development, Instructional Material Development, Research and Development, Extension Services, Consultancy in Technical Education and Technology areas. The institute offers ME Programmes affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh in five disciplines. Three ME Programmes, viz., ME in Computer Science & Engineering, ME in Electrical Engineeringand ME in Electronics & Communication Engineering are accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi. The institute has been recognized as a ‘Research Centre’ by Panjab University, Chandigarh (in 2006) as well as by PTU, Jalandhar/Kapurthala, Punjab (in 2005) for pursuing research work leading to the degree of Ph.D.

Last Date of Registration: 03rd Dec, 2020

* A test shall be conducted by organizing Committee at the end of the program.

* E-certificate shall be issued to those participants who have attended the program with minimum 80% attendance and scored minimum 60% marks in the test.
