Invites Applications for Ph.D. Programme of Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR) August 2013 Session

CSIR-CENTRAL DRUG RESEARCH INSTITUTE The CSIR-CDRI, a premier research institute of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), invites applications for Ph.D. Programme under Academy of Scientific and Innovation Research (AcSIR) from eligible candidates.

Eligibility:

M.Sc. / M. Pharm / M.S. (Pharm.) in Life sciences / Biotechnology / Organic Chemistry / Pharmaceutical sciences and qualified in CSIR-UGC-NET, ICMR, DBT examination for Junior Research Fellowship. The fellowship should be valid as on date of joining the institute (12m-13′” August, 2013).

How to Apply:

Interested candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria can apply online from April 18, 2013 at http://acsir.res.in. Online Application will close on May 23, 2013. For more details about application and admission procedures, candidates are requested to visit the website http://acsir.res.in.

Selection Process at CSIR-CDRI:

All applications received through AcSIR will be screened at CSIR-CDRI by a committee and only those candidates who are found suitable will be called for a written text and/or interview/counselling at CSIR-CDRI, Lucknow. The committee will set their own criteria as per AcSIR guidelines for short listing the candidates. Candidates are advised to visit the AcSIR and CSIR-CDRI website for dates of written test and/or interview. No TA will be paid by CSIR-CDRI and candidates will have to make their own arrangements for 2-3 days stay at Lucknow. The number of students to be selected will be decided by the committee at CSIR-CDRI.
