About AMDT Creative Scholarships

You may already know by now, AMDT is widely recognized as one of the finest schools for Arts & Creativity with a diverse and dynamic Creative community, where aspiring artists in Sri Lanka and around the world find what they need to develop their own unique Creative skills.

By awarding scholarships, AMDT aims to promote Creative educational enrichment by encouraging diversity and distinction in Sri Lanka. The AMDT Creative Scholarships will contribute to the growing demands of the Creative Industries in Sri Lanka, Maldives and around the world.

Students in Sri Lanka, Maldives, Bangladesh, Pakistan, UAE or from any other country are welcome to apply for any of the ‘AMDT Creative Scholarships’. The ‘AMDT Creative Scholarships’ are awarded for any one of the degree level qualifications offered at AMDT.

Available Scholarships:

You’ll be offered a scholarship valued upto LKR 300,000 for any of the degree level qualifications offered at AMDT. Additionally, all applicants will be awarded a Pearson BTEC HND – a British Creative qualification upon successful completion of the chosen course.

Fashion Design & Textile
Fashion Design & Marketing
3D Animation & Visual Effects
Film & Television
Web & App Development
Photography
Interior Design

Entry criteria:

* You must be at least 18 ears of age to apply for the scholarship.

* Prior skill, education or knowledge in Creative education will not be required.

* You must be passionate to journey into the Creative industry and help build Sri Lanka into a Creative country.

* You must fulfil admission requirements to study the programme.

Deadline for applications: Submission deadline – July 31st, 2019.

If you’re awarded an ‘AMDT Creative Scholarship’, you agree to fully commit, show consistency and continuously improve your Creative journey. Apply for this Scholarship only if you can guarantee that your commitment and hard work will be seen throughout the duration of your study at AMDT. The scholarship will be withdrawn for students who do not show satisfactory performance during the course of study.
