ADMISSION NOTIFICATION 2012

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to M. Tech in Nanoscience & Technology (Bio Medical Applications), M. Tech in Nanotechnology (Energy Applications), M. Tech in Molecular Medicine

Eligibility :

Nanoscience & Technology (Bio Medical Applications):- Masters Degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Materials, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bio informatics, Zoology) or Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Electronics, Biomedical, Bio technology, etc), MBBS or BDS or B.Pharm with at least 60% marks (or equivalent).

Nanotechnology (Energy Applications) :- Masters degree in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science or a B.Tech in Electronics, Chemical, Materials Science with at least 60% marks (or equivalent).

Molecular Medicine :- Masters Degree in any discipline of the Life Sciences, B.Tech Biotechnology, B.Pharm, MBBS with at least 60% marks (or equivalent).

About the Programme

The M.Tech in Nanotechnology has been a successful programme for the last four years with 100% placements and hands on research experience in cutting edge technologies and state-of-the-art facilities that are some of the best in the country. The M.Tech in Nanoscience & Technology focuses on Biomedical applications and M.Tech in Nanotechnology focuses on Energy applications such as super capacitors, solar cells. M.Tech in Molecular Medicine is a successful programme that began two years and focuses on molecular tools and technologies for diagnostics and therapy at the molecular level.

Intake: 20-25 students in Nanoscience & Technology (Bio Medical Applications). 10 students in Nanotechnology (Energy Applications) and 10 students in Molecular Medicine.

Scholarships: Total of 32 students will be fully supported by scholarships from the Department of ~ Science and Technology and from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, the Government of India,
