Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to M. Tech in Nanoscience & Technology (Bio Medical Applications) & M. Tech in Nanotechnology (Energy Applications)

Eligibility

Nanoscience & Technology (Bio Medical Applications):- Masters Degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Materials, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bio informatics, Zoology) or B.Tech in (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Electronics, Biomedical, Bio technology, etc), MBBS or BDS or B.Pharm with at least 60% marks (orequivalent).

Nanotechnology (Energy Applications) :-Masters degree in Physics, Chemistry. Materials Science or B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, Materials Science with at least 60% marks (or equivalent).

Important Dates

Application Deadline : 21st May 2012

Entrance Exam : 27th May 2012

Interview Daie : 28th May 2012

About the Programme

The M. Tech in Nanotechnology has been a successful program for the last four years with 100% placements and hands on research experience in cutting edge technologies and state-of-the-art facilities that are some of the best in the country. The M.Tech in Nano Science & Technology focuses on Biomedical applications and M.Tech in Nanotechnology focuses on Energy applications such as super capacitors, solar cells.

Intake.: 20-25 students in Nanoscience & Technology (Bio Medical Applications).

Scholarships. Total of 32 students will be fully supported by scholarships from the Department of Science and Technology and from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, the Government of India.
