Admission to M. Sc/ M. Phil Degree Programmes

Applications are invited for Admission to M. Sc (2 years) M. Phil. Degree Programmes offered in University Departments of Anna University Chennai for the Academic Year 2007-2008

1. M. Sc (2 years) Degree Programmes:

Application forms for admission to M. Sc (2 years) Degree Programmes in (A) Mathematics / Computer Science, (B) Material Science/ Medical Physics, (C) Applied Chemistry, (D) Applied Geology, (E) Economics/ Financial Economics, (F) Environmental Science and (G) M. Sc Electronic Media (2/3 years) can be obtained.

(i) In Person: From the Examination Centre, Anna University Chennai, Chennai ? 25, on payment by Demand Draft for Rs.600/- for General Category and Rs.300/- for Tamil Nadu SC/ST candidates.

(ii) By Post: By sending a Demand Draft for Rs.625/- (Rs.325/- for Tamil Nadu SC/ST Candidates) (which includes postal expenses) along with a requisition letter and a self address slip, to The Director (Admissions), Anna University Chennai, Chennai ? 600 025.

If a candidate wishes to apply for more than one group A/B/C/D/E/F/G, Separate application has to be submitted for each Group.

2. M. Phil Degree Programmes:

The application form for admission to M. Phil Degree Programmes in Mathematics/ Physics/ Crystal Science/Chemistry/ Applied Geology/ English is available in the website: www.annauniv.edu/mphil and can be downloaded from 12.04.2007. The filled in application should be sent along with Demand Draft for Rs.600/- for General category and Rs.300/- for Tamil Nadu SC/ST candidates.

All Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of The Director (Admissions), Anna University Chennai, payable at Chennai obtained from any Nationalized bank on or after 08.04.2007

Completed application form of M. Sc/ M. Phil should be sent to the Director (Admissions), Examination Centre, Anna University Chennai, Chennai on or before 05.05.2007 at 5.30 p.m.
