About AICTE-Visvesvaraya Best Teacher Award 2021

Visvesvaraya Teachers Award is to celebrate the unique contribution of some of the finest teachers of the institutes and to honour those teachers who through their commitment and industry have not only improved the quality of school education but also enriched the lives of their students.

Eligibility

(a) Regular teachers/ faculties working in AICTE approved Degree level and Polytechnic institutions.

(b) Applicants upper age limit for faculties to be nominated for award is as follows-

(a) Assistant Prof and lecturers – not beyond 40 years of age
(b) Associate Prof /HOD Polytechnic- not beyond 50 years of age
(c) Professor/Principal Polytechnic – not beyond 60 years of age

as on the last date for application.

(c) Maximum 1 nomination per institute per year would be considered.

(d) Previous award winners are not eligible for the current year.
