About 12th AIMS ALL INDIA MATHS SCIENCE TALENT EXAMINATION 2019-20

CENTRE FOR EXCELLENCE is a centre of education entirely devoted to the promotion of Mathematical and Scientific skills among school going children. We conduct the ALL INDIA MATHS SCIENCE TALENT EXAMINATION (AIMS TALENT EXAM) every year to enable students to strengthen their basic concepts and analytical ability and build a firm foundation for future competitive examinations such as NTSE, PSA (Problem Solving Aptitude), KVPY Olympiads, IIT-JEE, PMT etc. It is based on a system that tests not just the memory but also the child’s abilities, hidden talents and special aptitudes.

The Centre conducts the ALL INDIA MATHS SCIENCE TALENT EXAMINATION (AIMS TALENT EXAM) for Std. I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX and X and awards cash prizes and consolation prizes as well to the Class Toppers at the National Level.

We provide free guidance & counseling (through personal appointments, phone, mail) to the students, teachers & parents for “How to excel in academics by Time Managements Mind Management.”

Examination

Eligibility : Students studying in class I to X following CBSE/ICSE/IGCSE/State Board

Syllabus : Relevant class syllabus.

Subjects : Test of Reasoning, Mathematics & Science (There is only one (single) exam comprising questions from all the three subjects)

Pattern : Multiple Choice Questions (English Medium only)

– Class I to II : 25 Questions in 60 minutes

– Class III to X : 50 Questions in 60 minutes

Publication:

Sample practice questions for each class are available on www.aimstalent.com  Centre for Excellence also sells seperately Maths Science Talent Examination book (MCQs with answers) for class 1 to class 10 containing Model Question Papers covering Test of Reasoning, Mathematics & science in a single book. This book can also be made available to the interested students through respective schools on payment of a nominal price of Rs.60/- per book to the centre.

How to Apply

AIMS TALENT EXAM is organized only through the participating schools. The exam is conducted in the respective school of the participants during the school hours itself. The Centre will register the school and the students. Thereafter, the attendance sheet containing Roll Numbers of the students will be sent along with Question Papers, Answer Sheets and Guidelines for conducting the Examination by the school itself.

The schools are requested to send the details of the applicants in the prescribed Registration Form along with the Fees well before the last date to the CENTRE FOR EXCELLENCE, 12/102, First Floor, Aditya Commercial Complex, Preet Vihar Community Centre, New Delhi-110092 (Ph. 09968761561, 011-22527266). Though not compulsory, the information asked for vide registration form may even be forwarded by mail at aimstalentinfo@gmail.com.
