Competition Commission of India (CCI) announces National Level Essay Competition 2021-22 as a part of celebration of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.

Competition Commission of India (CCI) proposes to conduct an on online CCI National Level Essay Competition 2021-2022 for students pursuing undergraduate and post graduate courses in Law, Economics, Management and Regulatory Governance in any recognised university in India. The topic for essay and other guidelines are as under:-

Topic: “Competition Law in New India-Building Aatm Nirbhar Bharat”

Date of Commencement, Last Date and Language:

The essay contest commences from 01 st October, 2021 and closes on 31st October, 2021 (1800 hrs). Entries must be submitted in English language only

Cash Prizes: Winners will receive cash prizes as per the following table:

The prize winners shall also be given a certificate.

Eligibility

* The applicant must be a student as on 1st October, 2021 pursuing undergraduate or post graduate course in Law, Economics, Management and Regulatory Governance in any recognised university in India.

* Wards and relatives of employees of Competition Commission of India or office of Director General-CCI or Ministry of Corporate Affairs, GOI are NOT ELIGIBLE to participate in this competition.

Fee: There is no entry/application fee for the competition.

Structure of the Essay Competition:

The Essay Competition entries shall be submitted in word and PDF format by the last date stipulated (i.e. 31st October, 2021 by 1800 hrs). No essay will be entertained after 6 PM on 31st October 2021

Length of Essay:

The essay should not be more than 3000 words including footnotes. There is no minimum word limit; however, participants are encouraged to submit essays of not less than 1500 words.

Format of the Essay:

* Typed on A4 size.
* Font size shall be 12 points (English) in Times New Roman
* The space between the two lines should be 1.5
* Margins of one inch (2.54 cm) on all the four sides

Participants can submit their entries by e-mail to akam@cci.gov.in with entry form duly forwarded by their respective educational institutions latest by 31st October, 2021(1800 hrs).
