About Design a Doodle for PM SURYA GHAR MUFT BIJLI YOJANA

The Sun has been worshipped as a life-giver to our planet since ancient times. India has a vast solar energy potential. The PM Suryaghar: Muft Bijli Yojana aims to integrate the use of solar energy in our everyday lives through the recently launched Rooftop Solar (RTS) Programme. With an initial target of covering one crore households, the scheme will enable beneficiaries to generate up to 300 units of electricity per month through solar panels. The beneficiaries can also avail subsidy up to ₹78000.

The Ministry of New & Renewable Energy under the PM Suryaghar: Muft Bijli Yojana Campaign in collaboration with MyGov is calling upon all citizens to unleash their creativity and create doodles based on the theme of tapping the potential of solar energy as well as other forms of renewable energy for a sustainable living. Participants may also share educational and informative doodles that emphasize the benefits of embracing this scheme along with the importance of harnessing green sources of energy.

Gratification:

1. The best doodle will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 15,000.
