About Dr. Ambedkar National Award 2022

There are threeAwards one each under the categories ofWomen, Man & Institution/Organization, each carrying a cash prize ofRs.10 lakhs and a Citation

THE AWARD IS GIVEN FOR

* Outstanding contribution to the promotion of Social-Understanding and Upliftment of weaker sections of Society.

* A published work or a mass movement, widely recognized and acclaimed, which has made considerable impact on the quality oflife ofthe weaker sections of society.

* Efforts towards integratingWeaker Sections into the mainstream ofIndian Society, working for their socio-economic and educational upliftment.

Work done within the period of10 years immediately preceding the nomination shall be considered for the Award

Nominations can be made by

* Ministries of the Govt ofIndia
* State Governments / Union Territory Administrations
* Members of Parliament
* Past recipient of the Award
* Former Jury Members of the Award
* Vice-Chancellors of Universities
* Social Organisations and Non-Government Organisations

* Nominations must be sent in the prescribed format either in Hindi or English only.
(Nominations received in other than prescribed proforma will not be entertained)

* Nomination form is available on the website of the Foundation http://daic.gov.in/ and https://socialjustice.nic.in/

* Hard copy of the application form duly recommended is to be sent to Director, Dr. Ambedkar Foundation, 9th Floor, Jeevan Prakash Building, 25, KG Marg, Connaught Place, New Delhi, Delhi110001

* Soft Copy of the application form duly recommended is to be emailed to consultant.daf@nic.in
