About Essay Writing Competition- Plastic Hataao – Paryavaran Bachao

The Directorate of Publications Division of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB), Government of India invites short essays on the topic Plastic Hataao, Paryavaran Bachao in Hindi, as part of Hindi Pakhwada celebrations. The winning essay will be published in our monthly Bal Bharti.

Guidelines for Participants:

1. The Competition is meant for children aged 8-16 years.
2. Word limit: 500 words. The participants should try to adhere to the word limit.
3. Essay should not be plagiarised and should have personal views of the writer.

Violation of any guideline will lead to disqualification.

Important dates:

• Start Date: 08th September 2021
• Last Date of Submission: 14th Septemer 2021

The announcement of awardees will be done with cash prizes as per the following details:

Ist prize: Rs.1000
IInd prize: Rs.750
IIIrd prize: Rs.500

The winning entries would also be given a digital certificate. The certificate will be sent through email only and a hard copy will not be issued. Therefore, participants are required to provide their email address correctly.
