About Ganga Quest Online Quiz

National Mission for Clean Ganga, Ministry of Jal Shakti is implementing various projects for rejuvenation of river Ganga and its tributaries under flagship programme ‘Namami Gange’. Public outreach with special focus on students and youth has been an important priority area of the mission and we have been undertaking several activities for their engagement with this national cause. NMCG in association with Tree Craze Foundation has initiated an online quiz on Ganga and its ecosystem- ‘Ganga quest’ for wider constructive engagement of students, youth and public in times of Covid-19 when most of them are at home and participation in such quiz would be an opportunity to enjoy and learn.

Ganga Quest for the age group above 10 years is being conducted from 22nd April (World Earth Day). The winners of the quiz are to be announced on World Environment Day, i.e. 5th June 2020 and would be awarded with exciting prizes.

The schools with maximum participation will also be duly recognized. There is no fee for participation in Ganga Quest.

This Quiz will end on 22nd May 2020, International Day for Biodiversity.
