CALL FOR ENTRIES:

Celebrating creativity, www.graameen.in is announcing a dream opportunity to all the aspiring designers out there!  Graameen is organizing a freestyle saree design competition for the students and alumni of National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT)

Unravel a treasure trove of stories in silk/ handloom with your design….

We invite you to set the fashion trend of 2021 from the unique weaves and looms of India

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Current students and Alumni of NIFT (Graduated in and after 2015) can participate in the contest.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

1. Your design in an A3 size document

* The designs must be pen/pencil/colour/digital sketches

* Indicate the fabric requirement (cotton/silk) and colour story

* Applicants should send high-resolution images of the design

2. Rendered view of the design along with its technical specifications is required

3. A write up mentioning name of the designer and a short description (maximum 300 words) about design/ designer in the space provided

AWARDING CRITERIA

The submitted design will be evaluated on multiple dimensions. Originality of the Design, colour requirement, choice of material, level of innovation, aesthetic qualities, etc. are some parameters that may be considered.

NO FEES

This competition does not involve registration fees or any other form of fees.

BENEFITS TO WINNERS

* Your design could be draped in by a celebrity and would be announced as Graameen signature saree for the year 2021

* A Certificate to the Winner as an encouragement to the creativity of your design

* Opportunity for internship/ 1 year of empanelment with Graameen brand
