About INSPIRE – MANAK Scheme 2025-26

‘Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research’ (INSPIRE) scheme is one of the flagship programmes of Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India. The INSPIRE – MANAK (Million Minds Augmenting National Aspirations and Knowledge), being executed by DST with National Innovation Foundation – India (NIF), an autonomous body of DST, aims to motivate students studying in classes 6 to 12. The objective of the scheme is to target one million original ideas/innovations rooted in science and societal applications to foster a culture of creativity and innovative thinking among school children. Under this scheme, schools can nominate 5 best original ideas/innovations of students through this website. Within this limit of five nominations, a maximum of two student ideas from Classes 11 or 12 (Science stream only) can be nominated from one school.

The online nominations for 2025-26, will resume from 15th June, 2025. The schools will be able to submit their online nominations till  30th September, 2025.
