About International Hackathon _VOIS

GUIDELINES

* Registration will open from 9:00 AM GMT, 30th January 2023 to 6:00 PM GMT, 14th February 2023.

* Participants must be in a team of 2 minimum up to 4 members maximum.

* Indian and Romanian Participants must be 18 years old or above.

* Egyptian participants must be 21 years old or above.

* Participation in the competition is free of charge, and the primary language of communication is English.

* The solution pitched must be aligned to the theme ‘Creating Our Digital Future’ and one of the three tracks: ‘Inclusion for All’, ‘Planet’ and ‘Digital Society.’

* Submission of the solution pitch shall be made by the team leader.

* The solution pitch should be submitted in PPT, PDF, or MP4 format with a size not exceeding 20 MB.

* We encourage diversity and recommend that you create a diverse team from a gender mix perspective, different areas of expertise, etc.

* A participant cannot be a member of more than one team.

* Participant should be located in either Egypt, India or Romania.

* Only participants who are not employed in _VOIS or Vodafone can take part in this competition.

* Applications failing to meet the above guidelines will not be qualified to enter the hackathon competition.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE IN THE HACKATHON?

* Any students or professionals of a technical academic and/or professional background can participate.
* Indian and Romanian Participants must be 18 years old or above.

Registration is completely free of charge.

WHERE WILL YOU CONDUCT HACKATHON – ONLINE OR OFFLINE?

Hackathon 2023 will be conducted Online.

HOW MANY ROUNDS ARE THERE IN THE COMPETITION?

There will be one application stage and 3 Hackathon rounds.

CAN I PARTICIPATE IF I DO NOT HAVE A TEAM?

No, this is a team competition only.

CAN I FORM MY OWN TEAM? WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM SIZE OF A TEAM?

Yes, you are required to form a team in order to register. The team size should be 2 to 4 members.

IS THIS A GLOBAL COMPETITION?

Yes, the competition will have international participation of teams from Egypt, India, and Romania.
