Inclusion in education is inevitable and at present the education system in India has entered an era wherein after generating sufficient awareness about diverse group of learners and their learning needs the system of school education is working towards addressing the challenge of ‘how’ and ‘what’ of inclusive pedagogy practices, with leveraging the potential of ICT solutions. Appropriately designed software and hardware allow learners with special needs and their respective caregivers to participate effectively in education and achieve their optimum potential. This particular aspect has also been highlighted in the National Education Policy-2020 “The Policy also recognizes the importance of creating enabling mechanisms for providing Children with Special Needs (CWSN) or Divyang, the same opportunities of obtaining quality education as any other child.”

Various initiatives of Government of India towards encouraging digital education such as DIKSHA-One Nation One Digital Platform, PM e-Vidya, Samagra Shiksha Programme has significantly changes the digital education landscape of India.

Who can participate?

All citizens of India are eligible to participate. There is no age limit.

Launch Date : 19th May 2022

Entries Last Submission Date- : 30th June 2022

Winners Announcement Date- 10th October 2022 (* felicitation/award ceremony for the winners is planned to be held)
